Based on our know-how in supercritical fluids, we have developed a multi-purpose technology platform. Four main technologies are available from development to cGMP-compliant commercial production :
Cyclodextrin complexation in supercritical fluid medium.
2 processes have been developed and patented to enhance the bioavailability of a poorly-soluble API.
Solid dispersion using supercritical fluids.
It consists of a solid dispersion of an API in a GRAS polymer (Generally Recognized As Safe). The goal is absorption enhancement by increasing the solubilization.
Coating using supercritical fluids.
Taste or Odor Masking, API protection or stabilization, slow release system… Our patented process allows to coat micro or nano-sized particles at room temperature without organic solvent.
Enhancing the dissolution rate by increasing the surface specific area of an API. RESS, SAS processes are available to produce nano- or micro-sized particles with a narrow size distribution and a mastered crystalline form.
Other developments are currently in progress : extraction, purification, cleaning (medical devices)…
